Modernizing a Living Legacy
Client: North Carolina Veteran’s Memorial
Our Role: Digital Strategy, Automation, and CMS Architecture
1. The Challenge (The "Old Way")
The NC Veteran’s Memorial faced a massive operational bottleneck. With over 800 veterans in their registry, their management system was trapped in the analog world:
The Mail-In Hurdle: Orders were processed via physical mail-in forms and paper checks.
Manual Data Entry: Staff had to manually transcribe handwritten information into a static system, leading to high error risks and "administrative fatigue."
Static Content: Updating the website with new veteran stories and photos was a tedious, one-by-one coding task, making the memorial feel "frozen" in time.
2. The Strategy (The CATALYSTA Solution)
We didn't just give them a new look; we built a Digital Admin Team inside their website.
Automated Intake: Replaced mail-in forms with a custom, native digital interface.
Data Pipeline: Developed a workflow where form submissions trigger instant email notifications, allowing staff to move data into the Registry CMS with a single "copy-paste" action.
Dynamic Engine: Built a single "Master Template" that powers 800+ unique, searchable veteran profiles. Instead of 800 separate pages, the site now uses one intelligent design that changes based on the veteran being searched.
3. The Results (The "Empire" Metrics)
83% Reduction in Admin Time: What used to take days (waiting for mail, processing checks, manual page building) now takes minutes.
Zero-Maintenance Growth: The organization can now add the next 800 veterans without ever needing to hire a web developer to create new pages.
Community Connection: Families can now instantly "Search & Find" their loved ones, view their photos, and read their stories on any device.
4. The COO's Closing Insight
By implementing a Dynamic CMS, CATALYSTA moved this organization from "Manual Labor" to "Strategic Oversight." We didn't just build a website; we built a scalable archive that honors North Carolina’s heroes with the modern dignity they deserve.

Habitat for Humanity of Sanford, NC - Website Redesign
This project features a complete website overhaul for Habitat for Humanity of Sanford, NC, designed to transform their digital presence into a more functional and professional platform. The concept was to align the site with their new 2025 brand guide and enhance user experience across the board, making it easier for visitors to engage with their mission.
The website's design was entirely rebuilt, correcting issues with inconsistent fonts and creating a clean, cohesive visual language. We redesigned the hero section to include a heartwarming video that immediately draws visitors into their story. Key pages were amplified to serve strategic goals: a revamped ReStore page now includes a hiring section with clear role descriptions and a link to apply, streamlining their recruitment process.
Functionality was a primary focus. We designed and integrated a user-friendly donation section that makes it simple for people to contribute and offers the option for recurring donations to build sustained support. The sponsorship page was also enhanced with a dedicated Sponsor Highlight section, providing a prominent way to honor their most valuable partners.
This project demonstrates my skills in large-scale website redesign, aligning a non-profit's digital presence with its brand and mission. It reflects my ability to create a functional, readable, and emotionally resonant website that serves as a powerful tool for fundraising, community engagement, and recruitment.

Forte Coraggio – On-Brand E-Commerce Redesign

We curated the web copy to reflect a more sophisticated, on-brand voice and sourced new lifestyle imagery that authentically represents their target market. The product pages were redesigned with a minimalist layout, allowing the new photography and thoughtful copy to take center stage, creating a more a luxurious feel for the user.
Navigation was streamlined to enhance the customer journey, making it simple to explore collections and find products. The overall design emphasizes a clean, elegant aesthetic with generous use of white space to give the products breathing room and a high-end feel.
